Good evening, Brothers. I am Andrew Silva (920), the alumni communications chair of RPI Acacia. This is our final alumni newsletter of the spring semester:
Hello, alumni.
We had a busy but exciting weekend around the end of April. On Friday the 24th, we held our second GZ Basement concert of the semester. Rock to Trevor for making such excellent brisket and barbecued chicken. We also made 10 pounds of mac & cheese. On the following day, we held our 77th annual Black & Gold Formal. Thank you to everyone who showed up, and rock to Tim, Johnny, and Sean for helping out at work party.
President Martin A. Schmidt visited our house last week. We gave a tour, showed off a few of the rooms, and took a group photo. Bone to Andrew M. for walking out of his room shirtless in front of Marty.
We are glad to report that room game went well, and everyone seems happy with their room choices. Additionally, our new brothers have accepted several officer positions and house roles for the upcoming semesters. We would also like to congratulate Adrian as our new venerable dean. We are confident that he will perform the responsibilities of this role exceptionally.
As the active chapter welcome new brothers into Acacia, we must also say farewell to our older brothers. Congratulations to our new alumni, Trevor and Jackson. Another rock to Trevor for being an amazing junior steward, planning great meals while staying under budget. And many rocks to Jackson for being an amazing venerable dean and getting us through this academic year. We will miss you greatly, and we look forward to seeing you whenever you visit the house.
That concludes the spring 2026 semester. We will continue sending out these newsletters at the start of the upcoming fall semester.
